Next Show - 2018
Every year our school hosts a talent show, in which our students perform a special talent of theirs in front of a crowd of family and friends. It’s amazing to see how talented our students can be. Even the most reticent students at our school surprise us with their talents when they perform. It’s a wonderful event in which families and friends are invited to.
Next Night - TBA
Our students work hard, and we understand their stress and struggles, which is why we believe in creating an event dedicated to their pleasure. On teen night, some of our students come to have a great time. It’s an event full of activities such as playing video games, dancing, eating, watching movies etc… it’s great to see our students contesting with their friends or teachers to win a game.
Next Portfolio Day - 2018
We want to show our parents and friends what our students have learned. This is why we host portfolio day, a day where parents and friends come in to interview our students. This interview helps our parents and friends to see what our students are learning at school.
Next Smash - November 2018
Here at Hillside Arts, teachers do not just teach, they know how to have fun. This is why we have teachers smash, an event in which teachers compete against each other. It’s fun to see our teachers competing against each other at several games suggested by our students.
Next Show - March 2018
This is undoubtedly one of our best events here at Hillside Arts. On this day, all of our students from all over the world come together as one. Our students bring a famous dish from their culture and perform a famous or favorite art from their culture. This event is one of the most anticipated event of the year. Our students love it, our staff loves it, and our family and friends love it. It is a must see wonderful event. You have to be there to believe it.
Next Race - TBA
It’s wonderful what you can do with art. The boat race event is a competition in which students create a boat with nothing but card board and tape. Our students design their boat and race against others for a prize. The architecture and appearance of the boat matters because if the boat is not built well, then on the day of the competition, it will easily sink. With that in mind, our students construct the boat meticulously to make sure that they have a chance of winning the competition. Even if your boat did not make it to the finals you can still win if your boat looks great. It’s great to see how card board and tape can transform into a wonderful and useful work of art!
